My mother is Carolina. She is 38 years old. She is thin, she has got light brown eyes and curly brown hair. She comes from Chile but she lives in Argentina.
She is an industrial designer so she is always at the computer. Everyday she gets up at half past seven and takes us to school.
Sometimes she stays at home and our nanny takes us to school.
At weekends we sometimes go to the cinema and my mother always falls asleep during the movie.

My Winter Holidays
My winter holidays were very fun, would you like to find out? Yes, ok. My family and I lived in Miami, Florida, but 3 months ago I moved here, to live for a while. We will live here some 2 to 4 years, so over the holidays my mom, my dad, my sister, and I stayed in my apartment. While we were here we went to La Rural which was full of animals such as horses, cows, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and much more. I also went to all my cousins´ houses or apartments. I went to my grandparents’ houses and helped them with chores. I also celebrated my cousin´s birthday on July 31st. my friends birthday on August 1st. My birthday was on August 2nd. and my uncle´s birthday on August 3rd. We had a blast! What did you do?

MY SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Last summer holiday I went to Punta del Este with my family. I stayed in a big house for two weeks. I went to the beach and I went to the sea. I went at night to Freddo. And I ate ice-cream.
I got up at 10 o’ clock every day . I did a lot of sports during the holidays. I walk a lot!! The thing I liked the most was going to the beach. I didn’t like walking a lot.

In Buenos Aires I went to Lucia’s house and it was very, very fun.

STRANGER IN THE NIGHT
It was a cold and dark night. Mary was walking along the street, afraid and alone. Suddenly two men appeared and started to run where Mary was.
Mary started to run but the two men caught her. They said to her: “Are you Sofi?” Mary answered “No. I’m Mary” and she screamed “Get out of here! Help!” … But no one was in the streets, not even a cop.
The two men explained Mary what the problem was. The problem was that Sofi was a girl that escaped from her house because her parents didn’t let her go out.
After that, they asked Mary to help them to find the girl. Mary accepted but at ten o’clock she had to get back home.
When it was ten o’clock Mary went home.
The next morning she found one of the two men on the bus. She asked if they found Sofi and he said that “Yes! Se was with her friends, in a bar. Thank you”

Stranger in the Night
One cold, rainy evening there was a girl called Jennifer traveling by train. When she got off the train she realized, she left her bag in the train. But it was too late to go to pick it up.
Then, she started walking home. Suddenly, she heard somebody running behind her and, then,…touching her shoulder. She was very afraid!
So she rang a bell at the first house she saw, shouting “Help!” At the same time, she told the man “Leave me alone! What do you want?” The man told her: “You left your bag on the train, so I brought it”. Then he said: “Why were you afraid of me? I am not a thief!” he told Jennifer touching her hand.
Jennifer started to cry of happiness and said “Oh God, I can’t believe it. How can you forgive me?” The man answered “I don’t have to forgive you. It’s ok.”

Cars of the future
My future dream car will fly and will talk. When you touch a button some food will come out. It will have many buttons.
It will understand you and others. The doors and the boot will open when you say “Open” and will close when you say “Close”.
The rear window, the windscreen and the bonnet will open alone. It won’t have a steering wheel. When you tell him the place you want to go to, it will take you there.
That is my future dream car.

My next birthday party
I am going to have a party in Miami. We will go to the cinema to see Spiderman 3. Spiderman this time is going to fight Venom. He is similar to Spiderman. The only difference is that he is black, not red and blue.
When the film ends we will go to my house and play Naruto Uzumaki chronicles 2. I’m going to choose the best character that is Uchiha Madara.
Then when night comes, we will watch Dragon Ball. Then, we will go to sleep.
The next morning, we are going to play football at Oampo. When we come back, we will play Pica-wall.
Manuel Van Perborgh / Junior 5

CARS OF THE FUTURE
I think cars in ten years will be like they are now but in a hundred years cars will be advanced in technology and will be faster.
My dream car is a tunning car with neon lights and T.V. It’s going to have exotic paints and buffers that are big loudspeakers to listen to music all around the car. I want it to be a very fast car too.
I prefer an old car because it is very cool. It’s going to have six wheels instead of four.

A stranger in the night
Jennifer was going off the train. It was a dark night. She remembered leaving her handbag on the train but she heard steps behind her so she started to run. She saw a man behind her and started to run faster and faster.
She went to an apartment and she rang the bell and she asked for help. She cried “Help”. Then she felt a hand on her arm. When she looked back, a man said: “You forgot your handbag on the train”. "Oh, I’m sorry! I was scared. Thanks” the girl said. “You’re welcome. I have to go. Nice to meet you. Bye" said the man.

CARS OF THE FUTURE
The difference between the car of today and the one pf the future is that the car of the future doesn’t have wheels and a car of the present does.
I think that cars in ten years will have three wheels and the horn will be automatic. I think they will be without wheels and the dashboard will be a GPS one.
My future dream car will be a racing car without wheels, very fast, with a mini kitchen and GPS dashboard.
